Maeve is built to support REAL learning. We believe honesty and integrity are essential. This code explains how Maeve should be used. It also works alongside the rules of your school, program, or organisation. By using Maeve, you agree to use it responsibly and honestly.

The Maeve Honor Code

Maeve is a study tool designed to help you understand concepts, practice problems, and prepare for exams. It is not meant to replace learning or thinking for you.

Students use Maeve while studying for assessments, reviewing course material, and preparing for tests or exams.

Different schools and instructors may have different rules about study tools or AI, so when you are unsure, always check with your instructor or school.

Maeve should be used to support your learning, not to cheat. Using tools to get answers for live exams goes against the purpose of learning and is unfair to other students.

Maeve does not allow misuse of the platform.

Examples of misuse include:

If we detect misuse, Maeve may review the situation and take action when needed. This can include warnings, suspension, or account removal.
